This phenomenon is particularly typical in industrially concentrated residential areas with tall buildings and on roads where cars are speeding by.

At this time, the harmful gases are 2-3 times higher than normal. A healthy adult breathes 16 to 20 times per minute and inhales about 10 cubic meters of air a day. When exercising, due to metabolic needs, the amount of air inhaled is often 2-3 times that of normal conditions. Therefore, the choice of environment and time when exercising is particularly important. When is the air cleanest? Experimental studies have shown that 10 a.m. and around 3 p.m. every day are the two relatively optimal periods. Therefore, I would like to remind everyone to cherish this great time. Because exercising at this time will not only relax your tension, but you can also breathe high-quality fresh air. Since the air quality in the environment where each person lives and works is different, you should also pay attention to changes in the air pollution index when exercising outdoors. If the air pollution index is too high for a period of time or in a certain area, the exercise location should be adjusted.
