5 exercise myths: Swimming is not the safest sport

As the weather gets warmer, many girls start doing physical exercises to get rid of body fat in order to shape a good figure. Experts point out five common mistakes people make when exercising.

1. Exercise is not gradual

The basic mistake that almost everyone who starts exercising makes is to exercise too much on the first day, which leads to exhaustion on the second day. In fact, you don't need to exercise for too long when you first start exercising. If you experience muscle pain during exercise because you have not received professional training before, you must stop exercising and take a long time to recover.

2. Overload exercise

Do not overdo your exercise, otherwise it will damage your body. You can buy a heart rate monitor to check whether your heart rate is normal while jogging, walking, and stretching. A normal heart rate during exercise should not exceed 140 to 155 beats per minute.

3. Inappropriate sports shoes

It is best to prepare a pair of suitable and high-quality sports shoes, otherwise your legs, back and even internal organs may be affected. Try to choose sports shoes that are breathable and have good grip, which can promote blood circulation in the legs during exercise.

4. Swimming is the safest sport

Swimming is considered the safest sport, but experts believe that this sport is only suitable for those who can swim well enough and fast enough. If you can swim 1 kilometer in 20 to 22 minutes, swimming is a suitable exercise for you.

5. Cycling along the road

Cycling along the road is also a less intense aerobic exercise. However, cycling requires clean air, and you must also pay attention to road bumps and road traffic safety. Therefore, considering the above factors, cycling is not the best way to exercise.
