1. Lift the barbell from your back (the weight should be light, otherwise it will hurt your shoulders), stand up from the squat rack with your feet wider than your shoulders.

2. Hold the barbell tightly with both hands in a wide grip to keep the barbell balanced.

3. Then use your waist and abdomen, then your hips and thighs, to stabilize your lower body, and start squatting slowly, inhaling while squatting.

4. When the biceps femoris and calf muscles on the back of the legs are touching each other, start squatting up slowly while exhaling.

5. This counts as 1, and then do 6-12 in one set. Relax for 1 minute after completing a set. During the break, you can pat and stretch your leg muscles. Generally do 3-5 sets.

Note: The weight of the barbell squat varies from person to person. Don't go too heavy to avoid hurting your body. Holding dumbbells and weights can also achieve better results. If you have a poor foundation, you can also do squats with your bare hands and practice the squatting posture. Correct posture is the most important thing in squat training.
