What are the precautions before climbing a mountain?

For friends living in big cities, going to the mountains every week to climb mountains and exercise is a very good choice, although the mountainous areas have beautiful scenery and fresh air. But there are also many inconveniences. So before going hiking, we must do some preparation. So what are the things we need to pay attention to if we go hiking? Here are some things to keep in mind before hiking:

Precautions

(1) Elderly people who are weak or have just recovered from illness, as well as those who suffer from cardiovascular disease (such as high blood pressure, coronary artery blood supply obstruction and poor compensatory function), dizziness, chest tightness, and palpitations should not participate in mountain climbing activities.

(2) Before climbing, you need to survey (or inquire) about the terrain and topography, understand the structure and height of the mountain, and identify dangerous areas, rocky areas, and areas with dense vegetation.

(3) When climbing mountains that are filled with sand, gravel, pumice, and wild vines such as shrubs, do not grab onto loose grass roots or branches. If you accidentally fall while climbing, you should lie down facing the grass slope to protect yourself.

(4) If you feel short of breath while climbing, do not force yourself to continue climbing. You can rest where you are and take 10 to 12 deep breaths until your breathing becomes even, then continue climbing slowly.

(5) Shoes should fit your feet (rubber shoes and hiking shoes are preferred), high heels are not allowed, and clothes should be loose (sportswear and casual clothes are preferred);

(6) Bring some water or drinks with you in case you run out of water on the mountain;

(7) It is best not to go hiking when the weather is bad to avoid danger;

(8) Do not run down the mountain to avoid being unable to stop and getting in danger;

(9) When climbing a mountain, lean forward but keep your waist and back straight to avoid hunching or bending over.

These are some things to pay attention to before hiking. I hope they will be useful to you. Many friends do not have time to climb mountains, so they use climbing stairs instead of climbing mountains. In fact, the exercise effects of the two are very similar, but everyone needs to be reminded that you must exercise according to your own physical condition. For the elderly with poor legs and feet, they should climb mountains or stairs less.
