This is why the meniscus is more vulnerable. In medicine, we call it contradictory movement. The twisting of your knee joint during flexion and extension is also the process in which the meniscus is most likely to tear.

There are two other sports that are ambiguous for the knee joints, one is cycling and the other is running. Cycling: I personally don’t think it’s a big problem, because cycling itself does not require you to fight against the gravity of your body, so cycling should be okay. But if the condition of our knee joint is not good during examination, it is recommended that you raise or lower the seat a little when riding a bike to avoid the angle that causes pain when the knee joint moves.

Running can be divided into sprinting and jogging. If you're jogging, it may not be a big problem. Also, if your knee joint is very swollen and painful, don't even think about running or taking a walk. Because the inflammation is very serious, you need to rest at this time and let the inflammation subside, rather than using fiberoptic bundles to make it worse. In addition to exercise, we should also adjust and protect our knee joints in our daily lives. First, you need to pay attention to your own knees. That means don’t take it lightly and pay attention to protecting them. Second, the knees themselves need exercise, but the exercise should not be too strenuous. Especially for the elderly, we advocate doing what they can and avoiding strenuous exercises such as stretching, flexing, and twisting.
