Push-up hand position method

Push-up hand position method

When doing push-ups, many people don't know how to master the correct posture. If we don't know how to master the correct posture, then it is very likely that we will not get the desired effect after doing push-ups, because push-ups can make our bodies powerful and strong, but when doing them, many people use the wrong hand posture. If the hand posture is wrong, then we can't do push-ups correctly. What hand postures should we master when doing push-ups?

I recommend that fitness enthusiasts keep their palms flat on the floor when performing most push-up variations. Many gym-goers pride themselves on doing push-ups with unique hand positions—using their fists, fingers, thumbs, or even the backs of their wrists for support. I require all of my students to practice push-ups throughout their lives—using the hand position that is most comfortable for their joints.

For most people, the most comfortable position is the classic position with your palms flat on the floor. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule, for people with wrist injuries, it is easiest to do push-ups with their wrists locked and their fists on the ground. Fingertip push-ups build strength in your hands and forearms and can be a useful addition to your fitness routine, especially if you're doing a lot of grip training. You have to do fingertip push-ups step by step, starting with the first one - wall push-ups, then gradually replacing your palms with your fingertips. Once you are fully adapted, start the next one, and progress little by little.

For most people, performing a few sets of classic fingertip pushups (with hands fully extended) every week or two is enough to make their hands stronger and more toned than the average person. That should be enough for you. Even if that doesn't satisfy you, don't hesitate to try doing the movement with fewer fingers. The safest approach is to practice a series of push-ups using all ten fingers until you can do one-arm fingertip push-ups—an advanced stage that few people reach.

When doing push-ups, the hand positions must be correct, so that you can improve the quality of your body and make your body stronger. The hand posture and placement are very important when doing push-ups. Everyone must pay attention to it. You must also take care of your heart when doing push-ups, because many people's hearts will not be able to bear it when doing push-ups, but if you don't overdo it, similar symptoms will not occur.
