The third is alcohol. The calories contained in alcohol are also astonishing. 1 gram of alcohol has 7 calories, and a can of beer has 170 calories. We need 7,000 calories to gain one kilogram of fat. By this calculation, it is not surprising that people who drink frequently gain 2 to 3 kilograms of fat in a month.
