When is the best time to do aerobics?

Because of the improvement of living conditions, many people pay great attention to the quality of life, hoping that their bodies can be healthier and their figure can be maintained in very good condition. At this time, many people will choose to do aerobics, but because they are not very clear about some of the precautions of aerobics, they often practice blindly. So, when is the best time to practice aerobics?

1. It is not suitable to exercise for a period of time after a meal

After a meal, insulin secretion increases, which inhibits the decomposition of fat and limits the source of energy. Due to less fat decomposition, weight loss exercises should not be performed during this time period.

Stimulate the stomach and intestines: Exercising after a full meal will cause mechanical stimulation to the stomach and intestines, causing the dissolved substances in the stomach and intestines to vibrate left and right and up and down, which may cause symptoms such as vomiting and stomach cramps.

Impact on the effectiveness of weight loss exercises: After a person eats, the parasympathetic nerves in the body are easily inhibited. If the body wants to exercise at this time, the effect of the exercise will be reduced.

Blood flow distribution disorder: After a meal, the digestive organs need a large amount of blood for digestion and absorption. When the muscles of the whole body are exercising, a large amount of blood is also required, which will deprive the digestive organs of blood and cause digestion and absorption disorders. This disorder not only affects the exercise effect but also harms the body.

2. Suitable time for exercise

Studies have found that light exercise is best performed one hour after a meal; moderate exercise should be performed two hours after a meal; and high-intensity exercise can be performed three hours after a meal. Based on this, several optimal exercise time periods can be deduced:

Morning period: 3 hours after breakfast to before lunch

Afternoon session: 3 hours after lunch to before dinner

Evening period: 3 hours after dinner to bedtime

If you want to exercise, you must pay attention to the reasonable arrangement of time. If you exercise at an inappropriate time, it may be counterproductive and cause some discomfort to your body. For example, doing exercises immediately after a meal may cause gastrointestinal indigestion, gastroptosis and other diseases. Therefore, if you want to do aerobics, it is best to do it two hours after a meal.
