Can running train your abdominal muscles?

Nowadays, with the increase of pressure, many people have sub-health problems. In order to maintain good health, many people have the habit of running. Exercising through running is very effective. So, can running train your abdominal muscles? What should you pay attention to when running? Let's take a look at the introduction of this article below, I hope it will be helpful to you.

Fast running can train explosive power, while long-term jogging can train endurance and burn fat. Long periods of jogging can reduce belly fat and make your abdominal muscles look more pronounced, but jogging alone cannot build well-developed abdominal muscles.

Here are some abdominal muscle exercises:

The key to training your abdominal muscles lies in the intensity of the movements, not the more times the better. For example, if you can do 200 sit-ups at a time, it is not as good as if you can only do 10 sit-ups at both ends. Because being able to do more than 200 reps is a way to train your endurance, it does not significantly increase the thickness of your muscle fibers.

Four exercises to train the abdominal muscles: sit-ups, supine leg raises, sit-ups, and hanging leg raises (increasing intensity in sequence). If you can do more than 30 sit-ups, then do leg raises; if you can do more than 15 leg raises, then do sit-ups; if you can do more than 15 leg raises, then do hanging leg raises. Practice three times a week, do 3 sets of one exercise each time, and do about 10 repetitions in each set. In addition, if the body fat percentage is higher than 10%, the fat will cover the abdominal muscles you have trained. This is why sumo wrestling has no muscles.

For example:

1. Lift your head and back off the ground. Stop halfway through the rise.

2. The body is completely off the ground. Elbows to knees.

3. Let your body fall down, but don’t touch the ground. Stop halfway through the movement.

4. The body falls completely. Prepare for the next move.

The above 4 steps are repeated once. 8 times per set.

The above is an introduction to how running can train your abdominal muscles. Running can not only maintain a healthy body, but also train beautiful abdominal muscles, which is very helpful. Therefore, it is recommended that before running, you should learn more about the correct running method, so that you can truly bring out the effect of running. This is something you need to pay attention to.
