Will excessive exercise cause blood in the urine?

Exercise is a very common way to maintain health. Through this way of exercise, you can regulate your body, increase the amount of blood in your body, and increase resistance and immunity. However, some people may find that they have blood in their urine after excessive exercise. This makes people very worried. Is it because of excessive exercise that damages their kidneys or bladder and causes blood in their urine?

Sometimes healthy people experience hematuria after exercise, which is a sign of excessive exercise. This type of hematuria is non-pathological. If hematuria occurs, don't worry or panic. Just stop exercising and rest for a few days. Generally, the symptoms will gradually disappear and return to normal after a week.

After exercise, the body feels tired and the leg muscles are sore and weak. These are phenomena we often encounter. However, there are also a few people who find blood in their urine after strenuous exercise. After a detailed examination at the hospital, no symptoms were found, and there was no frequent, urgent, or painful urination. Sports experts point out that this is "exercise-induced hematuria", which is also a normal phenomenon. There is no need to panic once the cause is clear.

Dr. Wang Zhi from the Research Institute of the General Administration of Sport of China explained that when people exercise, the blood vessels in the muscles and joints throughout the body dilate and blood flow increases sharply. In order to meet this need, the blood flow to the glomerulus decreases and the oxygen supply may be temporarily insufficient. As a result, the cells on the capillary walls cannot fully function, the cell arrangement changes, and the cell gaps increase. If the red blood cells that originally only flowed in the blood vessels are filtered into the cyst cavity through the enlarged intercellular spaces, hematuria may occur.

Just stop exercising and rest for a few days. Generally, the symptoms will gradually disappear and return to normal after a week. If you take some vitamin K or C, the effect will be better.

The key to preventing "exercise-induced hematuria" is to increase the amount of exercise gradually from small to large. Do not engage in strenuous exercise after a long period of inactivity.

Will excessive exercise cause blood in the urine? This is a question that confuses many people. Some people are even worried and give up exercising. In fact, there is no need to worry, because this type of exercise will not cause any changes in the body. Blood in the urine is caused by a lack of elements in the body and you need to check whether there is a problem with the ureter. This has nothing to do with excessive exercise.
