The principles of muscle growth

The principles of muscle growth

Muscle growth mainly comes from two aspects. One is myofibrils. The main component of myofibrils is protein. This tissue has an important relationship with muscle contraction. The other tissue is sarcoplasm, which is a mechanism for wrapping fibrils. Through good exercise training, it will be able to get obvious stimulation, which can increase the volume and endurance of muscle tissue, thereby significantly growing muscle tissue.

The principles of muscle growth

1. Muscle bundles before training are a bundle of fibers that make up a muscle. Capillaries are blood vessels that carry nutrients to muscle fibers. Muscle fiber A single muscle cell containing myofibrils.

2. After training, the sarcoplasmic reticulum becomes a gel-like substance that surrounds the myofibrils. Myofibrils are small protein filaments that contract when stimulated. Myofibrils are a series of sarcomeres that work together to transmit force and help muscle cells contract. 3. Congestion When you perform exercises with light weights and multiple sets, some myofibrils begin to grow, but your body also sends signals to increase the size and number of mitochondria, the tiny engines inside your cells. After the mitochondria are activated, your endurance for multiple sets of long-term work is enhanced, and the supply of sarcoplasmic reticulum is increased, allowing the muscles to work more efficiently. The sarcoplasmic reticulum is filled with adenosine triphosphate, creatine phosphate, glycogen and water. It not only transports energy to the muscles, but also increases the volume of myofibrils. 4. Repair

Heavy weights and small sets of exercises can cause tiny tears in your myofibrils. This tearing triggers the immune system to send white blood cells to clear away the damaged cell fragments, making way for reconstruction. At the same time, your body secretes a burst of growth hormone, which has two effects: These growth hormones activate dormant stem cells and enable your body to better utilize the amino acids in protein. These awakened stem cells gather around damaged muscles and, with the help of amino acids, generate new fragments, making your myofibrils tighter and stronger.
