What are the precautions for wild swimming?

In the hot summer, many people like to spend time in cool water, which can not only cool down and relieve the heat, but also strengthen the body. However, because many people have this idea, some indoor swimming pools or swimming pools are often overcrowded. So some people want to find another way and swim in the wild, but swimming in the wild is very dangerous, so you must be careful.

Safety precautions for outdoor swimming

1. Do not swim in areas with warning signs such as "No Swimming" or "Dangerous Water Depth".

2. Do not swim in waterways, port areas, rapids, reef areas, near docks, or in areas where aquatic plants grow.

3. Do not dive into unknown terrain or shallow water, and do not dive into deep water rashly.

4. Do not swim alone in the wild, and don't swim after drinking. Don't go into the water immediately when you are sweating profusely.

5. Do not swim during thunderstorms.

Several accidents and self-rescue methods in wild swimming

1. When you have cramps, you should keep your body balanced in the water, take a deep breath, lie on your back on the water, then hold the toes of your cramping calf with your hands and pull it towards your body with force. At the same time, you can massage the cramping area. Repeat 3 to 5 times until the cramp disappears. If the cramps are severe and your legs are contracted and numb, you can pull yourself together while swimming towards the shore, or you can shout for help.

2. When you are entangled in water plants or stuck in mud, you should immediately lie on your back on the water surface and try to free yourself. Do not tread water or move your hands and feet around, otherwise your limbs will become more entangled or you will sink deeper and deeper into the mud. 3. When encountering a whirlpool or undercurrent, promptly judge the edge and center position of the whirlpool or undercurrent. Do not stand upright in the water or dive into the water. Instead, lie flat on the water surface immediately and swim hard along the edge of the whirlpool using backstroke or freestyle.

If you want to swim, it is best to do it in some swimming pools, because in such places, the swimming environment is relatively safe, there are not so many unpredictable dangers, and even if danger occurs, there will be many people to rescue, which will minimize the danger. When swimming in the wild, the danger is greatly increased and your life may be in danger at any time.
