Blind spot 1: No matter how hard you try, you still can’t lose weight by doing leg and butt exercises

There are always many slimming exercises in newspapers and magazines, and even in many slimming books that can be bought in bookstores, there are many muscle-strengthening exercises for slimming here and there. No matter which part, including thighs, calves, waist, and stomach, you do it seriously and obediently every day, but why don’t your legs become thinner at all, and your butt is still the same big? The problem is that you don’t cooperate with aerobic exercise. To burn fat, you must do aerobic exercise. The main effect of strength training is to increase muscle mass, increase metabolic rate, and sculpt your body to make you look more curvy. If you only do strength training and not aerobic training, your muscles will increase but your fat will remain. Instead of looking slimmer, you will look thicker. In addition to these exercises, walk or run for 30 minutes every day.

Blind spot 2: How can I not lose weight if I climb 11 floors to work every day?

First of all, I have to reward you for your perseverance and determination, but why can't you lose weight? The problem lies in the length of time you exercise. There is nothing wrong with climbing stairs being an aerobic exercise, but think about how long it takes to climb to the 11th floor, 5 minutes or 10 minutes? For aerobic exercise to be effective, it must last at least 20-30 minutes so that the body will begin to burn fat more efficiently.

Blind spot 3: Why do I gain weight instead of losing weight by jogging and doing aerobic exercise every day?

The first thing you do when you wake up every day is to run three laps at the playground of the nearby school. At noon, you go to the gym near the company to take aerobics classes. You do this every day, rain or shine. You are also very careful about your diet and eat a very low-calorie diet, but you are still gaining weight? You have such a large amount of exercise, but you are still not losing weight? This is indeed a lot of daily exercise, but I have to remind you that if you maintain the same exercise prescription for a long time without changing it, your body will gradually get used to this way of exercise over time. What you should do is change the exercise, intensity and duration. Replace your morning jog with swimming, or increase the intensity of your exercise, or increase the exercise time and run a few more laps.

Blind spot 4: Walking every day but not losing weight

If you have made up your mind to start exercising, choose walking as the first step. But why can’t I lose weight no matter how much I walk? First of all, I hope you are not wearing slippers and taking a walk in the park after a meal as your daily exercise. Or walking home in high heels after get off work is called brisk walking. You must get your heart rate up to at least 130 beats per minute, and do it at least 3 times a week, each time for at least 30 minutes, for such "walking" to be effective.

Blind spot 5: Trying to sweat more

Will you lose weight faster if you sweat more? In order to sweat more, you choose to wear long pants and long-sleeved tops when exercising, or use your secret weapon for weight loss. When you go to aerobics class in a sauna, you will indeed sweat a lot, but what you get rid of is not the fat on your body, but just water. When the break was over, the coach told everyone to drink some water, and the sweat they had just shed immediately came back. So, whether you sweat more or less is not the point. More importantly, if you exercise in a non-breathable sauna shapewear, your body temperature may rise too high and cause shock, which is very dangerous.
