Will muscles disappear if you don't exercise?

In life, many men hope that they can have a strong enough body and very, very beautiful muscles, so most men in life prefer to go to the gym. But sometimes, after doing fitness for a long time and building muscles, you sometimes don’t have time to exercise because of work. So, will men's muscles disappear if they don't exercise?

How long does it take for muscles to disappear without exercise?

After long-term fitness training, the body's muscle mass will increase and become fuller, and regular fitness exercises can control sebum to a certain extent. Muscle growth is due to the body's "adaptation to new changes" in order to adapt to the high-intensity "breathing" after fitness.

Fat loss is due to regular fitness exercises that allow the body to have a better metabolic level and dissipate excess energy. It prevents the body from accumulating excess heat and achieves the goal of losing weight.

After stopping fitness exercises, we have to face a new fact: the ability of cells to accumulate in the body of people who do not exercise will decrease. Stopping fitness means that muscles will gradually atrophy. This is because the body has strong physiological inertia. After stopping fitness, cells tend to become latent and the energy required decreases. Generally, muscles will start to loosen up one month after you stop exercising.

Maybe you will be scared when you see this, but it is not as scary as you think?

Muscle growth and weight loss are the same. A good figure requires daily training and adequate nutrition as support, but muscle atrophy is the same, and it requires a very slow process, so don't worry about going back to the pre-liberation era all of a sudden!

Muscle atrophy is actually just the atrophy of the "sarcoplasmic reticulum", which mainly provides energy for muscle contraction, while the truly important muscles are very difficult to break down and digest.

So even if the muscles slowly atrophy after you stop exercising, it is not the real muscles that atrophy, but only the "sarcoplasmic reticulum". But there is actually nothing to worry about, as long as you have reached a certain level of fitness before.
