Is running a strenuous exercise?

Running is one of our most common sports. It has many benefits to the body. Regular running can enhance our physique. However, although running seems simple, there are many things to pay attention to. Inappropriate posture and venue can also lead to many accidental injuries. Therefore, everyone still needs to run correctly. Next, we will answer the question of whether running is a strenuous exercise.

Vigorous exercise is one of the two situations we experience during physical education classes, sports training, and after competitions: one is that some people drink excessively during or after exercise due to thirst, which results in discomfort such as bloating and stomach pain;

The other type is that some people are extremely thirsty but are still constrained to wait until a long time after exercise to replenish water, which results in dehydration and various diseases.

If it is jogging, it is not considered strenuous exercise.

If it is fast running or long-distance running, it is considered strenuous exercise.

Running is the most common form of physical exercise, mainly because the running technique is simple and does not require special venues, clothing or equipment. You can do running exercises on the sports field, on the road, or even in the fields or woods. Everyone can control their own running speed, distance and route. To keep fit!

Notice:

1. Don’t squat to rest

This is a very common practice. When you feel tired after exercise, you squat or sit down thinking that you can save energy and rest. In fact, this is a wrong practice: if you squat and sit down to rest immediately after fitness exercise, it will hinder blood return to the lower limbs, affect blood circulation, and deepen muscle fatigue. In severe cases, gravity shock may occur. Therefore, after each exercise, you should adjust your breathing rhythm, walk and swing your arms, and do some relaxation and adjustment activities to promote the blood from the limbs to flow back to the heart, so as to pay off the "oxygen debt", speed up physical recovery and eliminate fatigue.

The above content is an introduction to whether running is a strenuous exercise. There are many types of running, so people who are not suitable for strenuous exercise can jog. As long as you find the right posture and shoes when running, you can generally avoid many problems. Of course, the intensity of exercise still needs to be determined according to your physical condition.
