Exercise can make our body stronger, not only improving our immunity, but also keeping our body in a standard condition. People who exercise regularly generally rarely get sick. This is because exercise can enhance our resistance. So what happens if you exercise excessively for a long time?

Muscle aches and pains. People who have just started to exercise, those who have stopped exercising for a long time and are resuming activities, or those who are changing their activities to new ones will experience muscle soreness in certain parts of their body, which is a normal phenomenon. If muscle soreness persists, check whether the muscle soft tissue is damaged.

Joint pain. If pain occurs in or near a joint and there is joint dysfunction, ligament sprain should be considered. In addition, because women are weaker, they are more likely to injure the meniscus of the knee when exercising. It may also be fatigue fracture or periostitis of the tendons and bones.

Breathing heavily. Panting is a normal phenomenon during exercise. Panting to varying degrees will occur with different exercise intensities, and will return to normal after rest. This is a normal phenomenon. If you become panting after even the slightest activity and cannot recover even after a long rest, this may be a sign of lung damage. Damaged lungs will cause heavy breathing, and lung qi deficiency will cause uncontrolled panting. When this happens the activity should be stopped.

Weakness in the limbs. It is normal to feel weak after fitness activities. Generally, you should recover after resting for about 15 minutes after the activities. If you cannot recover after several days, it is a sign of spleen damage, because the spleen controls the muscles of the limbs. If you have bloating and loss of appetite, you should reduce the amount of exercise.

No matter what we eat or do, it should be in moderation, which is what we usually call "do what you can", and the same goes for exercise. If we force our bodies to endure exercise that exceeds their capacity, our bodies will naturally not be able to bear it. Over time, not only will it not help our health in any way, but it will also cause many diseases due to overdrawn physical strength.
