How to improve lung capacity

Various organs in the human body require oxygen support, and oxygen is almost entirely obtained through breathing in the lungs. If your lung capacity is poor, there will easily be insufficient oxygen supply, resulting in dizziness, headaches, and inattention, which will not only affect your study and work, but also cause harm to your body. Healthy people usually have normal lung capacity, are energetic and have a clear mind. Middle-aged and elderly people can prevent diseases such as Alzheimer's disease by doing exercises to improve their lung capacity. The exercise method is very simple. Walking, swimming, and chest expansion exercises can all improve lung capacity.

1. Swimming. You don't have to swim, you can also do other exercises in water. Because of the water pressure in the water, your body has to work harder to inhale the same amount of air, which gives the lungs a good exercise.

It is best to keep the water up to your neck. If you exercise in the water long enough and do it often, your breathing system will become more efficient, thereby increasing your lung capacity.

2. Working at higher altitudes. Because the air at high altitudes is relatively thin and contains less oxygen, your body has to inhale more air to meet its needs, which can give the lungs a good exercise. Of course, be careful not to train too hard at high altitudes, or you may get altitude sickness.

Be careful about catching a cold when exercising in winter. Do not take off your clothes immediately during exercise, and do not wait until you are soaked with sweat before taking off your clothes. Otherwise it is easy to catch a cold. After exercising for a while, your body will become hot and you can gradually take off your clothes. After sweating profusely, wipe yourself dry immediately, change into dry clothes, and keep your body warm.
