Do I need to wear a sports bra when running?

Nowadays, more and more people are doing sports, and sports are gradually becoming professional. You can see many people dressed very professionally when running, wearing sportswear and running shoes. However, for women, there is one more requirement, which is sports bra. It can reduce the discomfort of women's breasts during exercise, but not everyone is suitable for wearing sports bra. This article introduces the content of sports bras. Let’s learn about it together.

1. Wearing a sports bra is a good idea. Because this is a bra designed specifically for sports, it can minimize discomfort and stretching on the chest during exercise. But your breasts will not automatically sag just because you run without a sports bra. Breast sagging is caused by four factors: breast size, weight, pregnancy history and genetic genes.

2. Many women experience breast discomfort every month, usually before their period. The discomfort mostly occurs when the breasts bounce. Therefore, a sports bra that reduces breast movement can help relieve pain. Choose the underwear that suits you. Remember that underwear is not meant to restrict or compress, nor is it meant to base or control. Women with small breasts and no unusual tenderness generally prefer tight-fitting sports bras.

3. However, if your cup size is larger than C or you experience periodic breast discomfort, it is best to choose bras that fully cover both sides of your breasts. I recommend seamless styles, as stitching can hurt your nipples. The non-elastic, widened sides at the underband prevent the bra from riding up while running. The straps and cups should also be inelastic. The metal buckle of the bra should be on the back. The chest buckle style makes the chest easier to move.

As for sagging breasts, it is often caused by pregnancy, breastfeeding, and lack of running. The breasts are basically composed of glandular tissue and fat. When your breasts expand due to breastfeeding or weight gain, there are no ligaments in your body to support the extra tissue, and the nightmare of stretching and sagging occurs.
