Is there any downside to yoga?
Many people practice yoga without a clear purpose. There are many ways to practice yoga, some of which are difficult for many people to do. Since everyone's physical foundation is different, it is difficult to achieve it all at once without training. It will also cause a certain degree of harm to the body. Difficult postures have relatively high requirements on all aspects of the body and often require long-term stretching or support. For those with poor muscle strength and flexibility, it is easy to cause muscle strain. So, are there any disadvantages to practicing yoga?

Benefits of practicing yoga: 1. Increased vitality, due to the effects of yoga on the brain and glands. 2. Youthful appearance and mood: Yoga reduces facial wrinkles and produces a natural "face-lift" effect. This is mainly due to handstands. Our normal upright posture causes gravity to pull the muscles downward. Over time, the facial muscles begin to sag. By standing upside down for a few minutes every day, we can reverse the effect of gravity and make it an aid in our rejuvenation, preventing facial muscles from relaxing, reducing wrinkles and naturally smoothing the skin. Generally speaking, practicing yoga should be based on the standard of "what the body can bear". If you feel pain in the body during practice, you should immediately reset and rest. 2: People who are too thin cannot practice yoga well. Yoga itself is a sport that requires muscle strength to perform. For thin women, thin muscles can easily be strained. Doctors instead recommend that women who are too thin should do some basic strength training before practicing yoga. Therefore, practicing yoga is not the best choice for losing weight, especially for those whose body shape is already within the normal range, but it is still helpful for obese people. Losing weight mainly depends on consuming calories. The most effective way to lose weight is to scientifically control your diet and exercise effectively. Therefore, unless it is some special yoga exercises such as thermal yoga, it is difficult to achieve weight loss effect in a short period of time through yoga. Some people do not lose weight after practicing yoga, but their body composition structure is better than before. This is the ultimate goal of yoga weight loss.
