Relevant experts conducted two animal experiments to show that aerobic exercise shortens lifespan. The first is the longevity of hibernating voles, which is the latest paper published by Professor Hubert of Harvard Medical University in the United States. He compared the lifespans of voles by dividing them into three groups: those that hibernate well, those that hardly hibernate, and those that are somewhere in between. The results showed that the longest lifespan of hibernating voles was 1,600 days, while the longest lifespan of non-hibernating voles was only 1,100 days.

Hibernation can be said to be the exact opposite of aerobic exercise. As body temperature drops, oxygen consumption is greatly reduced. Conversely, excessive oxygen consumption can obviously shorten lifespan.
