The length of the interval between a meal and exercise largely depends on the type of meal and the amount consumed. Other determining factors include age, physical condition, and exercise intensity. For an average middle-aged person, if the meal before exercise is large and mostly consists of foods high in protein and fat, the interval should be more than two hours; if the meal is small and mainly consists of carbohydrates, the interval can be shortened to 30 minutes to 1 hour. So, while exercise is important, you must also be cautious and be kind to your stomach.

If you are running, you should do it at least one hour later, usually one hour or one and a half hours is enough. But don't run too hard, just normal jogging will be enough. Don't do exercises like the 100-meter sprint, which is harmful to the body. Generally, you can do all kinds of exercise two hours after a meal.
